Our 2025 Annual Meeting will be hosted by Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Law, on September 8-9, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.
The conference is open to all law school leaders, faculty, administration, students, judges, and lawyers, both members and non-members.

Join the International Association of Law Schools (IALS) in exploring the evolving landscape of legal education at our upcoming Annual Meeting on: “Perspectives on the 21st Century: One Quarter In.”
We have reached the quarter-century mark and a pivotal point in the 21st century, making this IALS Annual Meeting a vital platform for reflection on the transformative forces impacting law schools and the legal profession worldwide. From rapid technological advancements and changes in globalization to shifting societal values and complex legal challenges, we invite you to join us to continue the discussion.
ACCOMODATION & TRANSPORTATION
Each registered attendee is responsible for making their own hotel accommodations and transportation to Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will take place at the Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Law, 254 Phaya Thai Rd, Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.
Upon registration, attendees will be provided with hotel information.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
The visa invitation letters will be emailed separately after registration.

The final registration deadline is August 1, 2025. Registration fees must be paid by August 15, 2025; if not, your registration will be canceled. Please familiarize yourself with the conference deadlines.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund is available before August 1, 2025. Please email the Secretariat for cancellation and refund request.

SUBSIDY
Since its founding, the IALS has engaged in an active program to ensure that our meetings represent the different perspectives of all the world’s law schools without regard to an institution’s financial ability to participate. As a non-profit, volunteer service organization, we are dependent upon our members, foundations, and corporate sponsors to assist in providing such support for developing country faculty who, either themselves or their institution, have limited resources to bear the full financial burden of attending our meetings.
For those who still require assistance, the Association has set aside a limited budget for this purpose. Decisions will be based on the diversity of regions and legal systems, prior support, perceived need, and willingness of the applicant and/or its institution to partner in sharing the cost.

Established to serve the needs of society and break new ground for change, the faculty aims to create innovative teaching and learning strategies for Thailand’s legal education that rivals universal standards. Graduates are trained in a specific legal field of choice, to be highly skilled in theory and practice, and match the rapid global developments. The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Civil and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, and International Law. Moreover, several specialized fields are available, including Economics Law, Finance and Tax Law, and International Business Law. The distinguished faculty members are recognized nationally and internationally, for their teaching and published research.

Share your expertise and insights in your field of inquiry. We invite IALS members to present perspectives and suggestions in panel discussions on key themes, including but not limited to:

Speakers must be a current IALS Member in good standing and registered for the meeting.

- Abstract on the topic you would address in 7-10 minutes on a panel;
